At Meet the Makers: San Diego, we screened segments from our San Diego episode, and featured live demos from Jess and Rory of Edible Alchemy along with an in-depth talk with Catt Fields White of San Diego Markets and the InTents Conference. Karen Fortmann, White Labs’ senior scientist, led us through a talk on the magic of fermentation and the science of yeast and the winner of TLC’s Next Great Baker and AB Mauri’s baking ambassador, Lia Weber, lead a sourdough focaccia demo.

A tasting experience and our Makers Market followed the live show, featuring food and drink from San Diego makers and producers.
